Use the Create Event button to start creating a new event.
Enter Event Name – Give your event a name, any name. "Birthday Party", "Movie Night", "Dinner", "Bar night", "Study Group get together". Anything you want.
Location – Add the address where your event will be taking place.
Invite People – This is the list of people you will invite to your event. Your guests will be invited via SMS and are pulled directly from your phone's contacts. Only contacts with mobile numbers can be invited to your event. MyInvite also needs access to your contacts. We do not store your contacts and will only use them to invite guests to your events.
Add People from Past Events/Groups – When selecting people to invite, tap here to invite people from past events or from groups you have previously created. This way you do not have to add people one-by-one.
Removing Guest – To remove or uninvite a guest, find the person's name on your guest list, then long-press (press and hold) on their name to remove them from your event's guest list.
Date & Time – Add the date and time for when your event will be taking place.
Hide Guest List – If all your guests are not known to each other, you may wish to [Hide Guest List]. If you Hide Guest List, guests will only see the Host and themselves. They will not see the entire list of invited people. If this option is not selected, your entire guest list is visible to everyone you have invited. If guestlist is hidden, then group chat functionality will be disabled for the event. Only the host can broadcast messages to all invitees. No one else can reply or send messages of their own.
Optional – These options are up to you to include in your Invite. They are not necessary to create an event.
End Time – Add an end time to your event. It is not necessary, but if you want your event to end at a certain time you can enter it here.
RSVP By – If you require all responses in by a certain day and time, enter it here. Guests who do not RSVP in time, will not be allowed to reply YES to your event.
Description – Place for you to provide more details about your event.
Add a link – Add a link to a website related to your event if you wish.
Can People Invite Others – If your guests are allowed to invite other people, set this option to YES. Your invited guests can select how many people they will bring with them. These newly invited guests will be added to your event's total guest count.
Max Capacity – If you would like to set a maximum number of attendees, enter that number here. YES replies to your event will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. Once the limit is reached, people who confirm after this are added to a waitlist.
